Whether it’s a presentation or a video for fun, there’s no two ways about it: Making a video is more work than it seems. Once you have a vision, you have to clearly communicate that vision with the people you’re working with. And from there you have to get the script right, obtain the right equipment and actually make your vision come to life with what you have.
Fortunately, you can get a head start by following along with this template so you don’t miss a thing. Write a few drafts of a script, cast the right people if necessary, plan the shooting schedule, do a few rounds of edits and submit it to the right place.
Tip: If you need a lot of equipment for a big shoot, create a new project to keep track of it all.
